I became a Health Coach because I am passionate about helping people live healthier lives. I want to help others transform their bodies and enjoy the process so that they can turn healthy habits into a new way of life. Being healthy shouldn’t have to be complicated; there is more to a healthy lifestyle than fad diets and unsustainable exercise regimens; most people know what they need to do to be healthy but lack the resources to make and sustain those changes.
Before becoming a health coach, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Management. I have worked in schools, owned a fast-casual restaurant, healthcare, and the corporate world. In 2020, I had my world rocked by my health and knew I needed to fight for myself to get to the root issues. This set me on my new journey. I found the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I studied more than 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative life coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. I graduated with my Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching certification.
I have been happily married to my husband for 26 years. We have two wonderful adult sons who blessed us with two daughters in love. In addition, we are blessed with two sweet, energetic grandkids. Once, becoming empty nesters in 2021, we welcomed Cocoa, our first golden doodle, to our house. This was new as we always had labs. I love just about anything active and moving. I enjoy walking, hiking, biking, boxing, yoga, and strength training. I love to travel. My heart is always at peace when near water, especially the ocean. I have become my biggest advocate, learning, and fighting for my health through the past two years. I now thrive on a dairy-free, soy-free, and gluten-free-based diet. I love creating and trying new recipes that highlight the versatility and depth of flavor of whole foods while removing dairy, soy, and gluten from the recipe.
I have an integrative approach to coaching that recognizes that wellness is more than physical health but is also influenced by emotional, mental, social, spiritual, and environmental factors. Employing a personalized strategy that is direct, supportive, and goal-oriented, your unique conditions, needs, and circumstances are at the center of our work together.
